YH Presents @ Lulie Tavern

We’re heading south and parking up at The Lulie Tavern for a HUGE, free-entry YH Presents gig series to kick off the new year.

Every Friday through Feb from 7pm, we’ll be joining a bunch of epic live acts at the Abbotsford institution to serenade locals into the weekend.

The YH Presents series kicks off on Friday, February 3 with Auntie Leo & The Backstabbers unleashing the blurred tones of their 60s surf rock-meets-spaghetti western tunes before handing the stage to Femmericana lords Madeline Leman & The Desert Swells to round out the evening.

Friday, February 10 sees Melbourne rhythm and blues veterans, The Breadmakers join the party alongside “ultimate party band” Thee Cha Cha Chas, set to release a barrage of heavy garage-punk bangers throughout the Tavern.

Kicking off week 3 on Friday, February 17 is Loretta Miller followed by Annie-Rose Maloney closing the night with some slow-burning ballads best paired with a frothie in hand.

Wrapping up the month on Friday, February 24 is Fan Girl and local pop, psych and folk outfit Salarymen, hitting the Lulie before embarking on an epic year that will see them perform at the Austin SXSW festival.

Head to our Facebook Page for event info and RSVP to follow all announcements and updates.
