This is the big one mates! To kick off the inaugural SXSW Sydney music offering, we’re bringing our Young Henrys Rock & Roll Circus to Darling Harbour’s Tumbalong Park outdoor stage on Wednesday, October 18 for a totally FREE event.
Joining our talented af YH House Band to hit send on a selection of iconic rock songs will be (in no particular order):
Dan Sultan, Wallice (US), Ben Marwe (Bad Dreems), Hayley Mary, Tyne-James Organ, Emmy Mack (Redhook), Jamie Timony (These New South Whales), Zoe Catterall (The Buoys), Zeppelin Hamilton (Velvet Trip), Annie Hamilton and Dante Knows.

If you’ve been following our shenanigans for a while, you’ll be familiar with Rock & Roll Circus. Like karaoke on steroids, our long-running gig series encapsulates pretty well everything we love - drinking beers with our muso mates and belting out classic rock songs.
With SXSW Sydney marking a major music moment for our city, we’re pumped to bring the show to Sydneysiders and visitors from far and wide. As noted below by YH co-founder Oscar, this one is pretty special:

Emmy from Redhook will be making her Rock & Roll Circus debut!
Kicking off from 5pm, certified rock super-fan Fitzy will be playing host for the event, with cold tins pouring all arvo long from our Tumbalong Park pop-up bar. Tell your mates, cancel your plans, this one’ll be HUGE!
