Announcing the winner of our Young Henrys Brewing Scholarship

Pack your bags Laura, you’re going to beer school!

Young Henrys are proud to announce Laura Nosworthy as the winner of our 2022 Brewing Scholarship!

Announced back in March to celebrate International Women’s Day, Young Henrys Brewing Scholarship covers the full tuition (valued at $10K) of one female brewer each year enrolled in the Certificate III Food Processing (Micro Brewing) Course. On top of this, we’re offering one on one, quarterly mentoring with our Head Brewer Jesse Searls, Head Distiller Carla Daunton and Head of Lab Rene Delmas, plus a pair of Blundstone Boots and stacks of YH merch.

This scholarship aims to create more opportunities in the brewing industry for female, female-identifying and non binary people, whilst shining light on the diverse career paths one can take in the wonderful world of beer!

We’re so stoked for this year’s winner, Laura Nosworthy and are honoured to be part of Laura’s beer journey.
