About This Role
We're searching for a power-house 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to support the day-to-day operations of our Tasting Bar. This role is 20 hours per week and weekend availability is non-negotiable. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong hospitality background, especially anyone with bar supervisor experience already! Confidence, curiosity, and great storytelling skills are a huge plus. Did we also mention a love of beer?
Key Responsibilities
- Upholding Young Henrys' core values across all aspects of service
- Overseeing bar setup, pack-down, cleanliness, and stock presentation
- Leading and supporting the bar team
- Working with the Tasting Bar Manager across all Tasting Bar–related events and delivering engaging and informative brewery tours (training provided)
- Assisting in improving and implementing operational or management procedures
- Maintaining RSA standards and ensure compliance with all safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Strong hospitality background
- Bar supervisor experience preferred
- Weekend availability (non-negotiable)
- Confidence and great communication skills
- Curiosity and storytelling abilities
- A genuine love of beer
- Valid RSA certificate
